HORROR OC: Miss Cuzzle

       

General Character Information

Name:

- Miss Cuzzle, this is one of her more common names out of the few she received through time. She prefers to keep this as her official name.

Nicknames:

- Izzibear, this name is an old name given to Miss Cuzzle from one of her old “friends.” Those which had dealt with her in the past will call her by this name if they remember her.

- Boogeyman, this name is far from what Miss Cuzzle is, but her ominous ways of getting rid of her victims gifts her this nickname.

Gender:

- Female, although it is rumored by some past victims that she managed to appear like a male stuffed animal.

Age:

- 100+ years old, she has had multiple owners through her very long existence. Some believe that she might’ve been an actual human being before she became an entity.

Height:

- 3 feet, this is in her false form.

- 10-20 feet, this is in her true form. 

Weight:

- Unknown, although she varies in weight depending on her form. If she is in her true form, she can be as heavy as an adult man. If she is in her false form, she feels light and easy to pick up. 

False Form Appearance:

- When in her false form, she looks like a brown teddy bear with no physical differences from an average teddy. She has blue buttons for eyes and a yellow hoop on her back that, if pulled, will allow her to speak like a toy. 

True Form Appearance:

- Her true form is a monstrous form that she enters when she goes after the child and their family. Her body was separated into two parts, revealing a long spine that drags along the floor like a snake. The blue buttons of her eyes also vanish, leaving one black pit and one demonic eye. She also grows sharp teeth, claws, and feet, all of which are used to grip hold and move. Her jaw can also dislocate so she can swallow a victim whole. 

Abilities/Weaknesses

Abilities:

- Voice mimicking, she can sound like several people. Such an ability allows her to trick people into getting closer to her overall location. She can mimic almost anyone, just as long as she hears their voice first.

- Appearance change, while she is shown to take the appearance of a teddy, she also has the ability to take the appearance of several other stuffed toys. She often does this when she wishes to get closer to a child to befriend them, often becoming their favorite type of animal in plush form. 

- Paranormal attachment, even if a victim can fight Miss Cuzzle off, she will always be linked to them. The only way they can get rid of her is through a priest. If they don’t go to a priest, she will forever torment them until they do something about her or die trying to escape her. 

- Life devouring, this is what Miss Cuzzle does when she wishes to forever befriend someone/get rid of them or their family members. She will dislocate her jaw and eat the child/family member whole. Doing this will trap those she devoured inside of her body forever with their soul unable to pass on fully. This will keep her fresh and will also allow her to better mimic their voices.

- Movement, when Miss Cuzzle first appears, she doesn’t desire to be seen by adults and would prefer to stay only in the child’s sight for a short while. While hiding from the adults, she will move on her own when nobody's looking. If someone throws her out, she will appear once again at a later time. She can also leave and come back at her own pace. When in her true form, she can move quickly while people are looking.

- True form, this is the appearance that Miss Cuzzle normally takes once she manipulates/attempts to manipulate the child into becoming her best friend. She also uses this horrifying form to attack the parents as they rest, often devouring them first so the child feels more needy for her the next day. This whole form is meant for chasing, and overall, killing. 

- Dream manipulation, this is often used when the child escapes from her after she enters her true form. As they grow, she will manipulate their dreams to the point they can go possibly insane to try and escape/forget about her. 

- Emotion sucker, this is how she keeps her energy through time while with a child and what lures her to them to begin with. A child with negative emotions flowing through them will recharge her like a battery. She is overall a very evil, vile entity who preys on those who are emotionally weak and immature. 

Weaknesses:

- Priests/Holy objects, like most evil entities, this is the best thing to use if you wish to get rid of her for good. However, it is hard, she will try to keep you as far away from such people/objects as possible. 

- Denying her friendship, which will be deadly. Doing this action will make her go into a rage and she will immediately start chasing her victim down. Even so, it’ll confuse her and make her so frustrated that she does things without thinking clearly. 

- If the child grows up to join a religious group, doing so will keep her more at bay, but will not rid her completely. They will need a priest to do that.

- Being viewed by the parents early. This is only for a short while, mainly due to the fact that she needs to gather up her strength, get the child more in a bond with her, and rid the parents in a non-suspicious fashion. She will keep still until that time.

Background

Place of Origin:

- United States, Texas. The first ever report involving her was on the newspaper 90 years ago. It is said that the child’s body was never found and her parents even mysteriously vanished. 

Current Home:

- Anywhere, if there is a child who is full of negative emotions/living a crappy life, she will be formed/appear and begin her work. 

Backstory Summary:

Miss Cuzzle’s true origin dates back far more than just 90 years ago, because in reality, Miss Cuzzle was once a human being called Riley J. Patty who in which owned an antique toy store in the late 1890’s.

Riley was born into a quiet family and was the only female of four siblings, all of which were far older than her. She was the youngest out of the other three siblings next to her and started off her life like any other child. She went to school, helped her family out, and did all that she needed to do. Even through it all, however, she did struggle with one major detail in life growing up, the ability to make friends.

All of her life, Riley struggled to communicate with some of her peers. Some might question if she was shy, but that was not the case. It was her frightening behavior that often pushed people away from her, including her own family deep down.

Such odd behavior started to show when she turned seven. In an effort to befriend someone, she had asked them if they would be her friend. After rejection, the young Riley J. Patty went into a rage filled fit, gripping her fellow peer like a toy just to push her in anger. This resulted in the girl falling down the stairs in their elementary school, causing young Riley to get suspended for awhile. 

During her suspension, she dwelled on the rejected friendship offer for hours on end and when talked to, she would snap at her family, often cursing at them in a high pitched voice. This would also result in her getting spanked or grounded by her parents, leading her to become even more rage filled. 

Sadly, this aggressive behavior didn’t stop showing for awhile. At the age of ten, she had smacked a “friend” with a glass plate, mainly over a tug fight over a teddy bear, while they were playing tea party. At the age of 13, she tore up the expensive, handmade dress that a recent friend of hers had made for a dance because she was mad that her friend wanted to go to the dance without her. At the age of 15, she had locked one of her older siblings into the cellar, mainly because he had started to date someone in which she wanted to befriend. At age 16, she had done far worse. At the age of 18, after many years of being strictly watched over, she appeared to go through a calm stage in her life, sending relief to everyone around her. 

She was friendless and for good reason, she was jealous and easily angered. Her parents both thought a good way for her to settle down would be for her to own an antique store, which she had been accompanied by two of her older brothers. At first, it worked, and she seemed to have kept calm until the age of 21 when they decided to finally give her space.

At 21, she appeared late to work and this caused people to search for her after her parents had worried too much about what could unfold. After many hours of searching, they had found her dead. Near her, there was another female who had been brutally beaten to death. Nobody truly knows what happened that day, but they suspect that she had another angry outburst for an unknown reason and picked with someone that she couldn’t handle, resulting in two deaths that very day. 

Years later, her older sibling that had gotten married to the one female had suddenly vanished, along with their young child days later. Before the child’s disappearance, he stated something chilling to another one of her older brothers.

Not even a few days later, the child had vanished as well, and so did the teddy bear that had appeared that day. As the years continued on, children and entire families started to vanish. Some children that managed to survive her called her Izzy, just like the first victim child, and grew up traumatized, insane, or died from their own hands.

In recent years, victims call her by her current name, Miss Cuzzle. One victim explained that Miss Cuzzle had asked to be friends, he rejected, and this led to him being chased and losing both legs. Another victim described how he watched his younger sibling get devoured in front of his eyes after accepting her offer and after being caught himself, had to run as fast as possible away from her. 

Miss Cuzzle AKA Riley J. Patty is extremely violent, mysterious, and craves friendship and desires to not lose it no matter what. So she preys on those who are fragile from emotions, tricks them, then wishes to have them forever.

- Miss Cuzzle remembers only most of the bad portions of her past life.

- Miss Cuzzle has always been aggressive and even when she was Riley, she lacked empathy and sympathy toward others.

- She will torment people who have lost their children/who are pregnant for the fun of it.

- She will also go after the true friends of those she is trying to “befriend.”

- The teddy bear that she looks like currently is mostly inspired from the special teddy bear in her childhood.

- She is all around a very sick, sick monster. She enjoys being around other beings like her that she can actually be friends/allies with. (demons, ect)

- She is never seen in a humanoid form.
